Getting
Married in Manitoba
When
you get married in Manitoba there are few things that are mandatory:
- you
must get a marriage license
- you
must get a marriage commissioner (or similar agent) to marry you
-
you must have two witnesses
You
don't need to be a resident of Manitoba or Canada. Be of the age of
majority (18) and not be already married. If you have been previously
divorced it is important that you bring along your divorce certificate.
Our
marriage licenser, PrideBride's own, Rita, will look at the divorce
certificate to make sure it is valid and record the appropriate numbers
onto the license.
